What do you mean by "Control the Power"?
If you can imagine your self holding on to a fire hose turned on full blast with no way to control the flow? The "traditional" telecom service providers deliver you the hose, but offer no way to control the flow to suit your specific bandwidth requirements. The Net-coneX Data Distribution & Management System, allows for the manipulation of the flow of data, to and from the Internet, to work best for your own particular network configuration. You can have your speed turned up or down as and when needed. You can also insure the mission-critical areas of your business, or servers on your network, get bandwidth priority over the workstations that are only web-surfing and checking e-mail.
How fast can I get my Net-coneX Service Package Installed?
If our system is now installed in your commercial building, your service package can be delivered to your network within days of your request. If you are in a commercial building where our service is not yet offered, just contact us to find out our current deployment schedule in your area.
Does my business really need firewall protection?
Absolutely, security on the Internet today is one of the biggest issues discussed amongst the ever-evolving world of Information Technology. There are literally thousands of intruders that do nothing but constantly hack the net collecting stolen information from exposed networks. If you are bringing your Network on-line for the first time, be certain you contact a Net-coneX Building Technology Consultant first to ensure your network goes on-line with the maximum protection from intruders.
What if I already have a firewall?
Once your Network is plugged into our NetCellerator, your options are many. Net-coneX can deliver Real World IP direct to your DMZ, while on the same feed also deliver Fire-walled Static IP's to your workstation groups, giving you an added layer of security on your network. No matter what the network configuration, Net-coneX system delivers clean, reliable, and managed bandwidth directly to your Network.
What is Policy Management?
All "traditional" Telco bandwidth providers deliver what Net-coneX refers to as Raw Bandwidth. The "Managed Ethernet" bandwidth delivered by the Net-coneX system, allows your network administrator to define policy to the mission critical areas of your network. For example; if your network is serving FTP data traffic, or your website's serving e-commerce traffic, your administrator can assign a certain priority to the mission critical data traveling between your network and the Internet. Otherwise, your administrator may want to assign certain priority to a particular zone or group of workstations on your network that needs to have access to more bandwidth than the other workstations on the network. The bottom line is "You Control the POWER".
Can I use your service as back up?
Yes, in most cases Net-coneX NetCellerator is the only true back up available in your building. The WARP software allows for "adaptive Multi-path fail over" to both the carrier and the customer. Should one connection to the Internet fail, the system automatically moves all data transfer to the other live feed for a seamless and uninterrupted data flow.
How many customers can a NetCellerator accomodate?
Each NetCellerator can service up to 22 seperate commercial customers with an infinite of computers per customer. The NetCellerators can be rack mounted if required.
Does each customer or port have it's own firewall?
Yes, the customer can decide whether or not to use only the Net-coneX Stateful firewall or a blended solution using the customer's existing firewall as well as the Net-coneX firewall for added security.
