No in-suite Hardware - Most successful network intrusions result from poorly configured in-suite routers or firewalls.
Active Port Defense - Almost all attacks start off with a port scan of the network. The system tracks all such scans as well as activity on known 'threat' ports (such as port 111). When a scan is detected, the system bans the attacking address from the network, shutting out the attacker entirely before the actual attack is even launched. Suspicious activity is logged and automatically reported to the systems administrators.
Stateful Firewall - The full Firewall service comes with Network Address Translation, Port Forwarding, VPN support and a host of other features. The system protects the entire network against almost all types of attacks from outside of the network.
Intrusion Detection System - The Intrusion Detection System offers additional security against hackers attempting to bypass or gain access to the firewall. The system will lock out users attempting to gain or misuse access, while it immediately alerts the system administrators. All logs are stored at a central server location and backed up regularly, that means all attempts at intrusion are tracked and reported.
DMZ Zone Filtering - This is for customers wishing to use real-world routable IP addresses, but still wanting the additional security and protection.
Advanced Network Connection - "Local Loop Redundancy" and "Adaptive Multi-Path Fail-Over";
Net-coneX advanced services can provide 2 completely separate IP paths from the corporate LAN to the Internet.
